Where Tradition Meets the Tranquility of Now.
My journey in the tea ceremony is rooted in the lineage of Kobori Enshu, a prominent Daimyo and master of the Edo period. Building upon this noble heritage, I established Towa (藤和).
The name "Towa" embodies the spirit of the wisteria (藤), characterized by its resilient vitality—strong yet incredibly flexible. It reflects my approach to the tea ceremony: not as a rigid ritual, but as a living art that gracefully adapts to each guest, ultimately blooming into a beautiful state of "和" (Harmony). Through this, I hope that the profound presence we share here becomes an eternal ("永遠") memory for every guest.
I offer a modern interpretation of "Kirei-sabi"—the aesthetic of elegance and serenity founded by Enshu. I strive to create a space where one can leave the everyday world behind, finding a harmonious balance of inner peace and quiet joy.
It would be my honor to welcome you into this sanctuary of tea, creating a singular moment of harmony that transcends time.
